Dirt has been in Travis’ blood from the day he was born and started working in construction at the age of 12. After graduating high school, he attended Central Washington University (CWU) graduating with a BS in Business Administration in 1997. On the personal side, family and his faith are very important to him. He has been married for 27 years to his college sweetheart Michelle, and they have three wonderful kids. Dani joined the staff of Santa Inc. in 2025 after graduating from CWU with a Construction Management degree. Bob, aged 21, is studying to be a CPA at CWU. Joe will be a senior in high school with plans to become a heavy diesel mechanic. Travis and Michelle invest in their community of Cle Elum by donating time and resources to local non-profits as well as their local church. Travis also enjoys participating in parades and truck shows with the family’s Kenworth show truck.

From flat track racing his 4-wheeler starting at age 5, to pretty much driving anything else with wheels, Tyler naturally gravitated to being in the driver’s seat of a truck. To ensure he could put that passion to good use, he attended Central Washington University and received a degree in Business Management. This served him well as he now oversees all of the trucking/equipment, maintenance, and logistics for Santa Inc. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to continue building the Santa Inc culture and brand. Tyler lives in Cle Elum, WA with his wife Erica and 3 kids. When he’s not at work, Tyler enjoys coaching his kids’ sports, golfing, and traveling whenever time allows.

Playing in the sand box was how it started, now it is reality! Nick attended the University of San Diego to play college football and finished his college education at Eastern Washington where he earned a business degree. With a combined 16 years of valuable field experience in every facet of our work, a business degree, and project management knowledge. Nick employs these experiences and skills to effectively manage all of Santa Inc’s project budgets, production, and customer relations. Nick is an avid golfer and loves spending time with his friends and loved ones.

Michelle has been with Santa Inc since the very beginning. Before Santa Inc., she did bookkeeping for multiple contractors with her own business for 8 years. She met her husband, Travis Santa, at CWU where she graduated in 1998 with a BS in Administrative Management. They have three kids and three Labrador Retrievers together. Outside of the family business, Michelle is also a successful realtor and is very involved in her local community. Michelle’s hobbies include anything her kids are into, BBQing with her husband, and running around with her dogs.

Alex started his career in underground utilities as a general laborer. After graduating from Gonzaga in 2001 with a degree in Business, he received his first construction management position with a Seattle-based resort development in Mexico. He soon moved back to Seattle with his soon-to-be wife and returned to the earthwork and utilities trade. With over 10 years at Santa Inc, Alex heads our estimating and project management departments. Alex, his wife, and his daughter enjoy doing as much as they can in the outdoors.

JoAnn LaBorde is a seasoned and skilled administrator who has been with Santa Inc since 2011. She brings over 30 years of accounting, payroll, and office management experience. She is a team player who uses her skills and capabilities to contribute to our overall profitability and growth. On her personal time, she enjoys spending time hiking and exploring with her dog Frankie.

Skip is our part-time CFO, is a CPA, and has over 35 years of experience working with local and regional heavy civil contractors. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. Married for 34 years to his lovely wife Suzanne, they have three daughters, a son and three grandchildren. Skip enjoys travel, spending time in Chelan and playing co-ed soccer with his kids.

Highly accomplished and safety-conscious General Superintendent with over 30+ years of experience specializing in complex civil projects, including large-scale utility installations. Jeremy has the Proven ability to lead self-perform crews and subcontractors, managing budgets while consistently delivering projects ahead of schedule. Expert in heavy equipment operations, and implementing OSHA-compliant, high-risk safety protocols. Outside of work Jeremy spends time with his wife and two daughters and when he’s not doing that you will find him fishing for salmon and steelhead.

Growing up in the culture of Santa Inc, Dani has always had a passion for the dirt business. As she grew up, she quickly turned that passion into a career. She graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Construction Management and is now a part of the project management staff handling job costs, productions, and subcontract management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the family property, and taking photos on the jobsites and at her brother’s football games.

Jake has grown up in the mechanical/construction industry. First through his grandpa and now at Santa Inc for the last 10+ years. Jake has learned his skills through many mentors in the industry and schooling at Lake Washington Technical College. Outside of work, Jake enjoys his time off with his wife Sarah and dog Chevy. Jake enjoys working for Santa Inc because “it’s so family-oriented and being able to watch a company and fleet grow so efficiently is amazing.”

“I started working for Santa Inc in 2018. I started out as a simple laborer but learned all about earth work, some utility work, and construction in general over the years. I had opportunities to learn how to operate heavy equipment here at Santa Inc and I was fortunate to learn from the talented operators that work for Santa. Now I am a Project Engineer helping out our Project Managers while continuing to learn more about the office side of things. I was on the track team at CWU where I graduated in 2014. I enjoy being outdoors and lately, I’ve been playing frisbee golf on the weekends with some coworkers and friends.”

Steve joined Santa Inc in 2013. During his tenure at Santa Inc., he has worked himself up from a laborer to an operator and then to the rank of Forman. He continues to improve his skill set and enjoys working with people new to the industry and being able to teach them the intricacies of civil construction. He and his wife love their dogs. When he is not busy at Santa Inc., you can find him spending time on his mountain bike, and riding his Harley.

Jaime followed in his father’s footsteps by going into civil construction at age 18. He immediately knew he had a passion for earthwork & utilities. He has 28+ years of experience in civil construction. Jaime has been with Santa Inc for over 12 years as a foreman. “I couldn’t be more pleased to be a part of such a well-structured and professional organization with an outstanding group of people to call family. The pride and dedication each and every employee puts forth to perform such quality work with safety being our #1 priority.” Jaime enjoys all the technical aspects of utility installation. He prides himself on his teams quality installation, the ability to work efficiently, effectively, and flow so fluently with the entire group. Jaime’s crew combined has 60+ years of experience in the utility field with knowledge, skill, and experience to tackle any job.

“As I followed in my dad‘s footsteps with dirt work, I had a huge passion to grow and learn more of the utility side and civil side of construction. As I now have 10 years of construction under my belt, I strive to always be better every day. I love what I do for a living. Things I love to do outside of work is go camping, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family.”

“I am an Eagle Scout. I have been in the industry for over 20 years as a second generation dirtworker. I have spent over a decade of that in leadership roles in the industry. In my career, I have worked for companies that did not have the high level of support that we have here at Santa Inc. and working for these other companies felt more like the employees were just a number. Here at Santa, it’s different. It’s like being part of an intricate watch where all parts, big and small, are equally important and appreciated. I feel truly blessed to be part of the Santa team. In my free time, I enjoy time with friends and family. I enjoy hunting and fishing. But what I look forward to is getting up and joining my brothers and sisters to achieve greatness within this establishment.”

“I started construction straight out of high school working with my Dad and brother. I began as a laborer in the field. I loved the work I was doing and the people I worked for. I made my way to becoming an operator and then foreman. My brother introduced me to dirt work. In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and daughter going to concerts and hiking.”

“I have been in the construction industry for 28 years starting out as a laborer then moving up into an operator position. I eventually moved into a leadership position and running crews with the knowledge I have collected over the years. I enjoy time with my friends and family either camping or fishing or some other adventure that might come up. I love sitting around the bonfire telling stories or listening to music. I truly love and appreciate my friends, family and the people I go to work with everyday!”

 “I came to Santa with 8 strong years of residential construction behind me; with skills in operating, laboring and pipe laying, but my passion for problem solving and attention to detail came long before that. My desire to expand my knowledge led me to Mass Excavation and ROW utility work, and the gratification that comes with it. I am going on 5 years at Santa and I’m fortunate to be a part of such a great team. I spend my free time with my wife, daughter, and son. We enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and bbqing with our family.”

“I started with Santa at the age of 19 starting out as a laborer and working my way through the years learning as much as possible to then become a foreman. In my free time I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and with my friends and family” 

Rick brings nearly five decades of heavy equipment experience to the industry, having begun his career in 1978. In the mid-2000s, he played an instrumental role in mentoring and training many of today’s Santa team members during his time leading Fardig Development. In 2015, he came to support the Santa team on a major apartment complex project and then worked for other firms. A call from Jeremy in 2025 brought Rick back to Santa Inc, where he plans to complete his distinguished career. Outside of work, Rick has long embraced high-performance motorsports and outdoor adventure including drag racing, boating, and snowmobiling. Above all, Rick is most proud of his family including three children and eleven grandchildren, who remain his greatest accomplishment.
